Noah's Search for a Forever Home Continues

snatched imageThe first of the month marked the first day of Noah’s heart worm treatment. When Noah arrived at our adoption center, he had a few medical ailments ranging from intestinal parasites, infected wounds, all the way to heart worms. Blue Ridge Humane Society is so grateful to be surrounded by such an animal loving community that donated towards Noah’s medical treatment. Noah stayed 2 days and 2 nights at a local vet clinic where he underwent heart worm treatment. He is on steroids and antibiotics for the next month and is on strict kennel rest but is LOVING his snuggle time! With the help of so many people, Noah was rescued from a depressing life in a small muddy dog lot. Our staff nursed him back to health, and now the biggest part of Noah’s journey has yet to come. We received over 1,000 phone calls, emails and Facebook messages about Noah – but not ONE person has come in to meet this handsome and sweet guy! We are asking folks one more time to please help us find Noah a forever home! So even if your house is currently at capacity on pets, please be an ambassador for Noah – share a photo of him on your Facebook page, or your personal Instagram account! Noah has proven to be a fighter, even after spending night after cold night in a wet and muddy dog pen, he never gave up hope. The saddest aspect of his past, is how isolated he was when all he wants to do is be in your lap! He is a super calm guy that just wants nothing more but to be cuddled. If you or someone you know is looking for a loyal canine companion with a heart of gold, Noah is YOUR guy! For more information on Noah call us at 828-685-7107
