It’s So Much Fun To Volunteer With Blue Ridge Humane Society!

Shelter Volunteers:
Where else can you get sloppy kisses and unconditional love? Our volunteers help us in so many ways. Whether you come out to the shelter to walk the dogs and puppies or play with our cats and kittens to help socialize them…we guarantee you’ll feel the love from our animals. We also need volunteers to help us with:

• Bathing our animals
• Off-site pet adoptions
• Taking one of our dogs downtown in the spring and summer to help introduce our animals to
• More people
• Special events at the shelter

(And remember, shelter volunteers receive a discount when they shop in the thrift store.)

Thrift Store Volunteers: Our store is a fun place to volunteer…and as a volunteer you receive a discount when you shop! Volunteers in our thrift store help us sort through donations, price donated items, merchandise the store displays, and work as a cashier. We also have special in-store events and promotions where we always need extra hands. We would love to have you join our team of dedicated volunteers who help us create such an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
