Blue Ridge Humane Society strives to bridge the gap to provide access to affordable preventative healthcare for pets.
Preventative care like vaccines, flea/tick and heartworm medication is essential to your pet’s health pets and decreases the chances of expensive veterinary bills. If you are a Henderson County resident needing over-the-counter flea and tick preventative, please feel free to complete this Pet Help Request Form.

1 Year Rabies Vaccination Appointments
We are now offering 1 year rabies vaccines by appointment. Appointments are required, and spots are limited. Once all appointments for a date are booked, the registration form will be taken down until the next clinic dates are released. Be sure to check back often for new openings or see additional resources for low-cost routine care below. Rabies vaccines are $15.

November Vaccine Clinic Information

The clinic will be offered at a low cost, while supplies last. All services on the list below are $15 unless otherwise noted.

Services offered at this clinic:
- Rabies 1 year (must be at least 4 months of age)
- Rabies 3 year – Without physical proof of 1-year rabies, we cannot provide a 3-year rabies vaccine. Owners must bring a rabies certificate on the day of the clinic. Rabies tags will not be accepted.

- DAPP (distemper)
- Bordatella (kennel cough)
- Leptospirosis
- Microchip
- PetHub ID tag ($10)
- Topical flea/tick prevention for Cats over 8 weeks of age (all weights) and dogs over 8 weeks of age (all weights) will also be on sale for $12 a dose!
Our clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Dogs must be on leashes & cats must be in carriers. Please be prepared to be patient while you and your pet(s) wait in your car.
