Volunteer
We are always looking for new volunteers. Do you love animals? Well, walking dogs or cuddling cats at the Shelter is your perfect volunteer gig. If working in the Shelter isn’t the right place for you, try volunteering at our Thrift Store.
Foster
For animal shelters, fostering means space and space means life. Even though a foster pet’s stay in your home is only temporary, you have the potential to change their life forever.
Education
Our mission involves working towards a community that is engaged with animal welfare. We offer off-site educational presentations for groups and organizations.
Group Service
There are many things group volunteers can do to help the animals of Blue Ridge Humane Society. This is a great option for school groups, scouts, and youth groups!
Events
