Foster Feature – Andrea!
Today’s Foster Home Feature is Andrea!
Andrea has fostered tons of animals with us. Every time she does so with an abundance of kindness and compassion. Even though Andrea works at a local school, has three kids, and several pets of her own, she always goes out of her way to have a spot open in her heart and home for a homeless pet. “I love how flexible it is to foster animals. Sometimes we are giving an animal a break from the shelter environment. Sometimes we get to spend time with the shy or spicy ones to help them feel safe and protected. It feels good to be a part of the many steps it takes to find a home for all these special souls. We started fostering to help out the animals in our community, but we keep fostering because Blue Ridge Humane Society is so amazing to work with!”
