Elliot’s Fighting Spirit

When Elliot first arrived at Blue Ridge Humane Society, he was in very rough shape—critically underweight, no bigger than a kitten, weeks younger than him, battling parasites, and struggling with what we thought was a lingering upper respiratory infection. His future was uncertain, but even then, we could see he was a fighter.

Thanks to multiple treatments, carefully measured feedings (including tube feedings and late-night meals), and endless TLC from his foster parents, Elliot has turned a corner. He’s now eating on his own, gaining about an ounce a day, and showing his playful, affectionate side.

Elliot’s journey isn’t over, but his progress is incredibly promising. Every ounce of love and care has brought him closer to becoming the healthy, happy kitten he deserves to be.

His story is only possible because of the dedication of his foster and the support of our community, which makes lifesaving work like this possible
