You Can’t Buy Love But You Can Rescue It
Photography Contest Submission
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone with a camera who has given a home to a homeless pet!
ENTRY PERIOD: January 1st – January 31st. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
WHAT TO ENTER: Blue Ridge Humane Society is committed to reducing the overpopulation of companion animals and to improve their quality of life through adoption, collaboration, and community education. For our “You Can’t Buy Love But You Can Rescue It” Photo Contest, we’d like for you to submit a photo of your rescue pet. Show us what a homeless pet’s second chance at a happily-ever-after looks like!
HOW TO ENTER: All images must be submitted through the form provided below. We kindly ask for a $15 donation per each photo entry (Donate Here, please indicate in the notes section that this is for the Photo Contest). 100% of each donation will go directly to veterinary services for the animals at our shelter. You may enter as many photos as you would like.
JUDGING: Judging will be conducted by the Camera Club of Hendersonville. BRHS will notify the winners by February 6th, 2017.
WINNERS: All winning photos will be on display at Sanctuary Brewing starting February 10th. Winners will also be awarded the following prizes.
- First Place will receive: A Professional Family Photo Session (valued at over $100), Wag! A Pet Boutique Gift Card, Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing
- Second Place will receive: Wag! A Pet Boutique Gift Card, Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing,
- Third Place will receive:Wag! A Pet Boutique Gift Card, Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing,
- 15 Honorable Mention winners will receive: Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing
