February 28th is World Spay Day! World Spay Day shines a spotlight on the power of affordable, accessible spay/neuter to save the lives of companion animals, community (feral and stray) cats, and street dogs who might otherwise be put down in shelters or killed on the street. Blue Ridge Humane Society provides free spay/neuter to all Henderson County residents. Animals are transported by us to the Humane Alliance Spay Neuter Clinic and are picked up the next day. Call us at 828-685-7107 to learn more or to schedule an appointment. Together we can save the lives of thousands of pets one spay/neuter at a time.
