A Community Fundraising Event Benefiting Blue Ridge Humane Society

Support Local, Save Local Animals

Join Blue Ridge Humane Society for Paws for a Purpose, a signature fundraising event filled weekend dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support our mission of nurturing and strengthening the bond between animals and people in our community by removing barriers and delivering accessible, comprehensive support with dignity and respect to address animal welfare challenges.

Throughout the weekend, locally owned businesses are hosting fundraisers to benefit animals in need. From coffee shops to breweries, boutiques to garden centers, each one is giving back—and you can too, just by showing up.

By supporting small businesses during this event, you’re not only helping them thrive, but you’re also directly contributing to the care of homeless pets and local pet owners in need. Whether you’re sipping, shopping, or snacking, every stop makes a difference.

Now more than ever, our local businesses need our support. And they’ve shown up for animals—let’s show them how much we appreciate it.

Support local businesses. Save local animals. It’s a win-win.
