After an outpouring of love and support from our community, we are thrilled to share that Trapper is happily settled into his new home.
Earlier this year, Trapper was found with a significant leg injury on Highway 9. He was picked up by Henderson County Animal Enforcement and immediately taken to Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital. His injury appeared to be caused by a coyote or bear trap and it was decided that his leg needed to be amputated.
Fast forward to now and we have an exciting update from Trapper’s new owner, who says:
“Trapper is doing great. He loves his big sister, and she has really come out of her shell since bringing him home. He has even taught her to go up and down the stairs, which she was afraid to do. He goes to work with me some days and does great. Everyone loves him.”
We are so grateful to our community for helping save Trapper’s life!
