Second Thrift Store Is Open

We are happy to announce the new store is OPEN. It is located at 1034-A Greenville Highway (near Merrell Paint and Pita Express), a half mile north of our current thrift store at 1214 Greenville Highway. The Blue Ridge Humane Society Thrift Store is the number one source of revenue for our animal shelter. In the last five years our shelter has helped over 3,000 animals. We did that with ONE thrift store. Just think how many more homeless animals we will help with TWO thrift stores! The new store sells:

• Large appliances
• Tools
• Light fixtures
• Hardware
• Kitchen/bath cabinets
• Building materials
• Exercise equipment
• Sporting goods
• Lawn/garden items
• Some furniture

Please tell everyone you know about our second store and ask them to consider donating items listed above to help the animals. Remember we will pick up donations! We need volunteers. Please volunteer to test and clean appliances or tools, be a cashier, or help with sorting donations and stocking the store.
