White cat with tabby markings on his head and ears

Alley Moon

Tabby cat sits in lap

There are really only two words that could describe Alley Moon to people that haven’t met her… “THE SWEETEST”. It really isn’t an exaggeration with this tabby girl! Alley Moon was said to have done well around small dogs and we could imagine that she could get along with other chill kitties as well. Alley Moon is not only the perfectly plump shape of a full moon when she curls up but she is also a certified lap cat. Although she came to us with barely any information, Alley Moon is a star and we know that she is going to make someone’s life so much brighter once they bring her home. Please consider emailing help@blueridgehumane.org if you are interested in meeting with Alley Moon. Right now, adoptions are by appointment only and only available to those who have smartphones so they can happen digitally.

Charlie

Charlie takes a little bit to show how charming and sweet he is but once he’s comfortable with you, you won’t be able to stop loving on him! Being on the more reserved and sensitive side, Charlie would probably do best in a home that is calmer. According to his last home, Charlie was with other cats so if your cats are low key and more mature, we think Charlie would be the cat for you! One of his favorite moves that makes all the ladies go crazy for him is his head boops. This guy can head boop like a professional! Please consider emailing help@blueridgehumane.org if you are interested in meeting with Charlie. Right now, adoptions are by appointment only and only available to those who have smartphones so they can happen digitally.

Brown dog with white chestWesley

Wesley is our resident goober and despite his not so ready beach body, this boy loves romping around. It would be easier for Wesley to be in a new home as your only pup and ideally not in an apartment complex. He is pretty easy going and is just wanting a home to retire into. Wesley bonds closely with his people is said to do well with children although we always recommend bringing your child in to meet with any potential dog you adopt. Wesley would love a yard of his own and really just wants to be a homebody with you. He knows “sit”, “shake” and loooooves to smile for the camera. If you’re lonely and looking for your best friend to cuddle all day long, consider meeting with Wesley! Just look at his smile! According to his foster mom, Wesley loves being around people and is a major sweetie. If she had one stink to bring up it would be that his farts are deadly! Since he has been in our care for over two weeks, his adoption fee is discounted. Please consider emailing help@blueridgehumane.org if you are interested in learning more about Wesley.
