Thrift Store Temporarily Closed

The Blue Ridge Humane Society Thrift Store is temporarily closed. In the spirit of full disclosure, we were notified of a positive COVID-19 test result for an individual who was on the property on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. In response, all staff are being tested for COVID-19. We are asking volunteers who were on-premise that day to be tested before returning to volunteer. The Thrift Store will be temporarily closed while a professional sanitation crew deep cleans and disinfects the store.

It is our duty to ensure everyone who interacts with our organization is safe, including the members of our community. We are deeply grateful to you all for your continued support and for doing your part as we move through another challenge during the pandemic.

While we hope that our closure isn’t a long one, we appreciate your patience and support as we work hard to ensure a safe and responsible reopening. Please check our website and Facebook page for updates.
