Today’s Featured Friday Pet is Poppy!

Let us introduce Poppy! The lovely Poppy was adopted as a wee kitten, and unfortunately was recently returned due to her human parental unit splitting up. Her former dad said she was perfect and hated to bring her back, so don’t get any ideas that Poppy is damaged goods. Now just shy of 5 months old, Poppy has kept her quiet and thoughtful personality that got her the nickname “Babycat” as a tiny kitten the first time around. An old soul, Poppy was voted “Most Intellectual” in her gradating class, and can usually be found pawing through her well loved Plath anthology or discussing her favorite Kubrick films. A typical teen she is not.

In addition to a serious side that belies her young age, Poppy has a gentle sweetness that will make her a great companion. Her former owner reported that she was calm and enjoys being held, but with a fun side too. Affectionate, playful, and muti-faceted, Poppy finds equal value in a lazer pointer or an empty lap. This sleek little house panther would fit in almost anywhere, since she’s pretty much perfect and everything you could want in a kitty friend.
