Meet Smokey!

Today’s Featured Friday Pet is Smokey!

What a great girl Smokey is! This green eyed beauty checks all the right boxes – gentle, laid-back, affectionate, cute as pie. When Smokey first came to us after her owner had to go into hospice, she was pretty shy, mostly hiding in her boxes and emerging only for brief love sessions. Now that she has graduated to a larger space at our adoption center, she’s really come out of her shell (er, box) to show us what a sweetheart she really is! Smokey is an expert biscuit maker and a little sweet talking is enough to really get her going.

At 6 years old, she is the perfect age; past the climbing curtains stage but with years of kitty love left to give. If you like your cat companions a little on the thick side, another win for Smokey; she’s a healthy weight on a naturally generous frame – perfect for cuddles of all varieties! Smokey lived in an indoor home with other cats and should do well with other feline friends. Smokey has won all of our hearts for being such a genuinely nice and well-rounded kitty, and we think you’ll feel the same!
