Today’s Featured Friday Pet is Maze!

The big and beautiful Maze is looking for a special adopter! This sweet, snow white boy has been at our adoption center looking for a home since early June. Maze was originally found as a stray, so we don’t know anything about his life before being at the shelter, but we estimate his age at about 8 years old and his sweetness at 100%. Maze is the ultimate chillax-er, a super low-key boy that doesn’t ask for much but quietly and happily accepts affection.
Maze is deaf and FIV+, which is not the big-deal, scary disease it was once thought to be! Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives with proper care, and since it’s only spread through deep bite wounds, is not easily transmitted to other cats. With him being deaf and FIV+, he wouldn’t simply need an indoor home where his former life on the streets can be left behind.
Other cats don’t seem to bother him, and the upside of being a deaf cat is not getting stressed by the vacuum or other noise! Maze is out getting a dental today, so his teeth will be squeaky clean for his new home. This gentle giant that would fit in with any cat lover, and we’re hoping a hero comes along very soon that will turn his luck around. Since he’s been at out adoption center over two weeks, his adoption fee is discounted. Please consider stopping in to meet Maze!
