Foster Friday: Pro Tips

grey and white kitten plays with a cat toy

Foster Friday: Pro Tip Edition

A Foster Friday Pro Tip for fosters or adoptive families!

Mat training is an extremely useful tool for cat owners and it is an easy, reward-based activity that can help you bond with your cat! Mat training helps with a variety of behavioral issues such as a cat’s reluctance to get into carrier or counter/keyboard surfing! If you’ve ever had your cat make an unexpected cameo in an important virtual meeting, this is definitely the activity for you!

Are you going to try teaching your cat using this method? Let us know how it goes!

If you are interested in learning more about our foster program fill out the quick form here, and we will follow up with you with next steps to coming on board as a foster.
