Meet Millie! – ADOPTED

A brown dog with white spot and tongue out

Today’s Featured Pet is Millie!

Our featured pet this week is Millie! This 10-month-old cutie has been brushing up on her house manners in foster care for a few weeks but is now ready to find a home of her own. Millie has been meeting other dogs, getting taught life lessons from a cat and working on how to live in a home again. She is crate trained and fully house trained according to her foster and would love an active home with either adults or older children.

Here is what her foster has to say about living with Millie:

“Millie is doing good! We are still going slow with her. She’s great with my dogs and the cat. I’ve had her out on the playground a few times with one of my boarding dogs. She’s a bit pushy when it comes to trying to get them to play and goes from 0 to 10 in a second. We are still working on her training skills and she’s very bright. She pretty much has free run of the room she is in all day and has not destroyed one thing. Millie absolutely adores my son. She would be a gem for a single guy.

She loves walks and outdoor time, and is a fan of fetch and tug. She gets pretty excited at exploring new places, and may pull on the leash, but once she knows the territory she’s more likely to accommodate a human pace. Of course, if the human can run along with her, so much the better! Millie loves toys and balls, and can entertain herself with a game of solo fetch if need be, although of course she loves some human help. She knows to bring the ball back to the person, and is starting to get the idea that actually dropping it will keep the game going longer!”

Fill out an application so that you can be connected with her foster to arrange a meeting in person: t.ly/1mAP
